In the late '50's, William R. Hague started a small retail water conditioning dealership in Columbus, Ohio. Today, Hague Quality Water International is the world leader in residential water treatment equipment manufacturing.
In the early '70's, Hague began manufacturing it's own equipment to improve the reliability over the units they had been assembling. Within a few years, demand was so high they had to move to a larger manufacturing facility in Groveport, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio.
In the mid '80's, Bill Hague set out to create the world's most efficient water system. Bill and his engineering staff ended up creating The WaterMax - they smashed every record for efficiency and reliability.
At the end of the last century, the manufacturing plant expanded twice and is poised for continued success and growth. This growth is still overseen by the founder Bill Hague, which makes Hague the oldest major company in the industry under continuous ownership and management.
